| The public has difficulty getting to the shore in Maine but there are places such as this that towns maintain for public access. I picture a clam digger coming down this path, and providentially as I painted, a tourist from Canada came along. I asked him to pose just so I could get an idea of the size of the figure I will put in the foreground of a formal version of this study. |
