In 1990, a former garage was moved to the artist's property in Stockton Springs, Maine.  Renovated into both working studio and small gallery, it sits among maturing pines and hardwoods, where visitors are welcome to enjoy your picnic lunch.  Hours are by chance or appointment, year round.  Phone: (207) 567-4302. 

Directions: 

Fern Hill Studio, as it is called, is located in the town of Stockton Springs, Maine, just east of the larger towns of Searsport and Belfast.
    
     From the South and West-  take U.S. Rte. 1 East.  From the intersection of Rte.1A and Rte. 1 in Stockton Springs, continue for on Rte. 1 (toward Acadia National Park).  At 4 miles turn left onto Meadow Road.  Fern Hill is just .2 mile on the left.

     From the East-  take U.S. Rte. 1 west (south) to Bucksport.  Cross the spectacular Penobscot Narrows Bridge. continue 2 miles on Rte. 1.  Turn right onto Meadow Road.  Fern Hill is .2 mile on left.

     From the North -  take either Rte. 1A south from Bangor, or Rte. 15 south from Brewer.  Then follow either directions from above.
